I fear that batman type supervillian types favor this sort of transport. Did you see anyone in a duck costume, maybe with duckling lackeys following in a line? And where can I get one shaped like a monkey? My minions are cross about riding in the back of my pick up all the time......
Gadzooks! You're right! I think we need to band together on this one. I didn't see anyone in a duck costume, but it was parked right beside the nudist beach (no, seriously, and this one is open and easy - it's kind of surreal to catch glimpses of people au natural in the wild, which is in itself surreal... anyway, what I was getting to was:) so perhaps he mingled unnoticed amongst the naturists.

I've got it! What's the one thing Ducks can't resist? Bread! We'll lay a breadcrumb trail from the island to the nearest pathetically low security asylum for the criminally insane, and he and his henchmen will walk straight into the trap. Nothing can go wrong, and they'll be locked up for good, where they belong, leaving the world safe for another day.

It made me think of Batman as well! :D And I remember watching those wife-carrying competitions on TV. It all looked very uncomfortable for the ladies to me.
